Hydramed Night Eye Ointment combines liquid paraffin and white soft paraffin with Vitamin A, Chamomile and Calendula for enchanced comfort. Vitamin A is part of the natural tear film and as such is very well tolerated as a lubricant. Vitamin A is required for the normal growth, maintenance and maturation of corneal cells and is therefore effective as a treatment when applied topically.
